P&G Wells is possibly Britain’s oldest bookshop. It holds a close connection to Jane Austen, who lived just a few doors away.

For the launch of Kirsty Applebaum’s beautifully illustrated book, The Strange Disappearance of Imogen Good, I painted a border for the window display. I adapted the cover art, designed by talented artist Margarita Kukhtina, into acrylics to celebrate the book’s debut at this historic shop.
